These gloves are based on the 2013 Ultimate Gel model. It features the same quality design and gel shock padding. However, the difference is the materials used for construction. The upper is still high-quality leather with synthetics providing the softer material of the palm and fingers. A larger open-palm is featured on this glove as well as an unprotected, free-thumb design. Industrial velcro only needs to be wrapped once around the wrist to secure a tight fit. A good choice for training and competitions where approved.
